‘P’ Residence | Poznan
The brief called for an interior inspired by the iconic Park House from the film Parasite, with a modernist aesthetic as its foundation. The residence’s design features walls clad in rich wooden panels and expansive stone slabs, creating a tactile, elegant backdrop. The ceiling is a statement in itself—wooden panels set within sleek metal frames seamlessly integrate architectural lighting, HVAC grilles, and access panels for electric blinds, merging function and design with subtle sophistication.
Details throughout are deliberately minimal yet impeccably precise. Every junction and alignment has been thoughtfully considered and meticulously coordinated to promote a seamless flow of space, enhancing both form and function.
To better serve the client’s lifestyle and maximize spatial quality, we adapted the original architecture by shifting the entire house northward by half a meter to enlarge the rooms, raising ceilings on both floors, and expanding window openings to flood interiors with natural light and deepen the connection to the outdoors. The home is fully automated via a cutting-edge smart system, with all mechanical and engineering elements cleverly concealed from view.
Originally engaged solely for the interior design, our scope quickly expanded as the client entrusted us with external elevations, a swimming pool, garden landscaping, a playground, and more. We are thrilled to be part of such a multifaceted project and to have the opportunity to extend our vision beyond the interiors, shaping every aspect of this remarkable home.
